What is the Cisco Networking Academy?
The Cisco Networking Academy, or NetAcad for short, is a global IT training and education programme that Cisco delivers as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
NetAcad leverages Cisco's expertise in the digital sector to deliver courses that help learners from all backgrounds develop skills through public-private partnerships.
The Cisco Networking Academy is Cisco’s largest Corporate Social Responsibility programme, and aims to:
Help learners from all backgrounds to acquire basic digital skills or kick-start a career in the IT industry
Improve socioeconomic conditions for individuals and communities
Increase access to digital education and career opportunities
Support the development of an educated IT workforce
Promote the growth of the IT industry
