Convergence!
And the New NetAcad experience from September 2024 onwards
New NetAcad - from September24 onwards ...
Convergence, where Skills for All will become NetAcad (and vice versa) is scheduled for Summer 2024. This resource summarises all the essential points, topics of interest and guidance for Cisco Academies in UKI.
Explore the new NetAcad
Discover the courses and resources that were already available on Skills for All - the new platform that will become NetAcad. As NetAcad will become Skills for All.
There are already a wealth of academic, education and certification courses available. We encourage you to explore all of these at the soonest opportunity.
Connect your NetAcad Login
Many of you have not yet connected your NetAcad login to the Skills for All platform. Please, do this at the soonest opportunity. This short video explains what is required and what you need to do.
This is now a legacy video and remains for reference
Creating a Self Paced Course
There are two types of course models on NetAcad. Self Paced and Instructor Led. This short video explains the simplicity of the self-pace resource.
Creating an Instructor Led Course
The second type is instructor led, you can deliver this in any modality you wish. This video, explores the additional features and functionality and modality associated with this course template.
You can use self-paced for both inclass and remote teaching, as is the same for instructor-led. The naming does NOT imply the type of delivery you must agree to, instead the suggested learning model and functionality available.
The replacement for Facilitator
Facilitator functionality no longer exists - it has been replaced by a 'support staff' sub-role, when you create a class. If you have non-accredited instructors, whom you wish to be able to create courses on your behalf and administer them, as if they are an instructor - you must ensure that they are both instructor and staff users within your Cisco Academy.
